• Physically examine all incoming shipments to ensure they meet specifications and log them in the system • Count, weigh or measure items of incoming shipments in order to verify information against invoices & orders • Examine and unpack incoming shipments; record shortages and reject damaged items • Check the expiry dates & physical condition of the items received and return damaged items • Verify receipts and log them according to required procedures • Ensure all storage racks are identified, with the relevant details, reorder level, maximum inventory, etc. • Keep a record of all items that enter or leave the feeding store and inspect for damaged items • Stock items in feeding store in the correct racks allocated for the specifications • Regularly take stocks and ensure the physical stocks tally with the stock records • Review standard daily fixed orders from regional warehouse for smooth processing • Issue materials as per approved procedures to ensure materials issued are as per requisitions received and delivery is made to authorized personnel. • Ensure all feeding store helpers and activities comply with the Health & Safety regulations • Ensure appropriate security measures are in place to protect the feeding store and all products • Ensure the effective usage of the storage space in the feeding store Ensure all stock movements are logged and can be tracked in the system .
