Job Title: QA/QC Inspector – Civil Job Summary: Responsible for inspecting and monitoring civil construction activities to ensure compliance with approved Inspection and Test Plans (ITP), Quality Control Plans (QCP), project specifications, client requirements, and applicable international standards such as BS, ACI, and ASTM. Key Responsibilities: Conduct inspections of civil works including foundations, excavation, backfilling, concrete works, roads, paving, trenches, and buildings. Inspect subgrade, compaction, elevations, reinforcement, formwork, concrete pouring, curing, grouting, waterproofing, and coating works. Monitor concrete quality, mix design, testing, and pouring activities. Witness third-party testing and verify compliance with approved specifications and standards. Identify quality issues and issue Surveillance Reports and Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) where required. Ensure implementation of project Quality Plans and approved ITP requirements. Maintain and prepare inspection records and quality documentation. Coordinate with construction, engineering, HSE, and other departments to resolve quality-related issues. Promote compliance with HSE requirements and safe working practices at site. Minimum Qualifications & Experience: Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering. Minimum 5 years of experience in civil and structural construction works. Experience in excavation, concrete works, roads and paving, foundations, and related civil activities. Good knowledge of civil construction materials, inspection methods, and international standards. Good English communication, reporting, documentation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
