Job Title AWP – Coordinator (Coastal)
Location: Coastal

Qualifications: Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Engineering Technology, Computer Information Systems, Computer Science, or related discipline
Key Responsibilities:
1. Lead and coordinate the implementation of Advanced Work Packaging (AWP) methodology throughout the project lifecycle.
2. Develop, maintain and monitor Engineering Work Packages (EWPs), Procurement Work Packages (PWPs), Construction Work Packages (CWPs) and Installation Work Packages (IWPs).
3. Coordinate with Engineering, Procurement, Construction, Planning, Commissioning and Project Controls teams to ensure effective work package execution.
4. Coordinate workface planning activities and ensure construction teams receive complete and executable work packages.
5. Verify material availability, engineering readiness, equipment delivery, permits and other prerequisites before releasing IWPs.
6. Facilitate work package readiness reviews, release meetings and multidisciplinary planning sessions.
7. Support 4D planning, digital construction tools, 3D model reviews and construction sequencing activities.
8. Monitor work package progress, constraints and readiness status throughout project execution.
9. Maintain AWP databases, package registers, tracking systems and related project reporting.
10. Prepare weekly and monthly AWP progress reports, dashboards and package readiness reports.
11. Identify constraints, productivity issues and opportunities for improving workface planning and field execution.
12. Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, clients and consultants regarding AWP implementation requirements.
13. Support continuous improvement, lessons learned and best-practice implementation across project teams.
Requirements:
1. Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Engineering Technology, Computer Information Systems, Computer Science, or related discipline.
2. Minimum 10–15 years of relevant experience in AWP, Workface Planning, Construction Planning, Project Controls or Digital Construction.
3. Strong experience in Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, Energy, Infrastructure or Industrial Construction projects.
4. Proven site-based experience in large EPC/EPCM, brownfield or greenfield projects.
5. Strong knowledge of AWP methodology and Engineering, Procurement, Construction and Installation Work Packages (EWP, PWP, CWP and IWP).
6. Good understanding of construction sequencing, workface planning, execution planning and construction readiness.
7. Experience coordinating Engineering, Procurement, Construction, Commissioning and Project Controls interfaces.
8. Experience with 4D planning, 3D models and digital construction tools; knowledge of Navisworks or Synchro is an advantage.
9. Familiarity with Primavera P6, project controls systems, AWP databases and reporting tools is preferred.
10. AWP Practitioner certification or formal training in AWP/WFP is preferred.
11. Knowledge of CII AWP methodology and experience with major operators such as PDO, OQ, ADNOC, Aramco, Shell or equivalent EPC contractors is an advantage.
12. Strong coordination, analytical, communication, reporting and problem-solving skills.
13. Ability to work effectively at site and coordinate with multidisciplinary project teams.
