Job Title Relay Testing & Electrical Commissioning Engineer
Location: Site

Experience Required: Minimum 5 Years in Relay Testing / Electrical Commissioning
Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical & Electronics Engineering
Key Responsibilities:
1. Carry out testing and commissioning of power system and substation equipment.
2. Perform testing of numerical relays, protection and control panels.
3. Test transformers, CTs, VTs, GIS and switchyard equipment.
4. Verify protection schemes, interlocks and overall system functionality.
5. Review electrical drawings, specifications and commissioning procedures.
6. Identify and resolve testing and commissioning issues and defects.
7. Prepare testing, commissioning and technical reports.
8. Coordinate with project teams, vendors, subcontractors, consultants and clients.
9. Ensure compliance with applicable IEC/BS standards and HSE requirements.
Requirements :
1. Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical & Electronics Engineering.\
2. Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in relay testing and electrical commissioning.
3. Hands-on experience in testing numerical relays, protection and control panels.
4. Experience with transformers, CTs, VTs, GIS and switchyard equipment.
5. Good knowledge of protection schemes, interlocks and system verification.
6. Knowledge of applicable IEC/BS standards.
7. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
8. PDO approval for relay testing / electrical commissioning is mandatory.
